Started 56 of the team's 61 games, all at first base... batted .306 with seven home runs and 34 RBI... drilled 13 doubles, a total of 20 extra base hits, the fourth-best on the team... reached base in 24 of the team's final 27 games... homered against Rice, Clemson, Duke, VCU, Appalachian State and twice against UNC Greensboro... drove in 15 runs over a 10 game stretch from April 20 through May 12... drilled two home runs in a 3-for-5 performance against UNCG on April 30... went 3-for-5 with a home run vs. Duke on May 17... went 2-for-4 against Rice with a home run and three RBI on Feb. 15.

Attended high school and junior college with current teammate Ryan Hubbard... hit .359 with seven homers and a .569 slugging percentage at Cypress... coached at Cypress by Scott Pickler... joins a growing list of former Cypress players to attend Wake Forest... former Deacon outfielders Scott Daeley and Cory Sullivan came to Wake Forest from Cypress JC ... owns the Huntington Beach High School career record for home runs... voted all-league in high school and junior college... a good athlete who was an all-conference football player... earned the scholar-athlete award.
