Volleyball Downs ACC Rival N.C. State
Wolfpack takes Deacons to five matches.

RALEIGH, N.C. - The NC State volleyball team lost in the ACC for the 11th straight time, this time to Wake Forest in a five game match: 3-15, 15-8, 15-8, 14-16 and 11-15.
NC State (10-14, 0-11) looked to freshman outside hitter Charece Williams (27 kills, .412 hitting percentage and 10 digs) and Laura Kimbrell (22 kills, .283 hitting percentage and 15 digs) for offense. Freshman setter Erin Vesey led the club with 70 assists. In the match, NC State hit .261 with 82 kills, 76 assists and 75 digs.
The Demon Deacons (18-8, 6-6) were led by the trio of Margaret Davidson, Katie Horne and Trina Maso de Moya. All three had 14 kills. Both Horne and Davidson hit over .300 for the match. Wake Forest hit .269 with 66 kills, 59 assists and 64 digs.
The Pac will return to Reynolds Coliseum Tomorrow, Oct. 31 for a match against Duke. Gametime is scheduled for 6 p.m.
